Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect almost nothing.

Data you provide

Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to a server. When you close the tab, your inputs are gone (unless you've shared a URL containing them — see below).

Local storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember two preferences across visits:

You can clear these at any time from your browser settings.

Shareable URLs

Each calculator can encode its current inputs into a URL fragment (the part after #). Fragments are not sent to any server. If you share such a URL with someone else, they will see the inputs you encoded.

Analytics

We count page views in aggregate — nothing else. FinCalc uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports anonymous, aggregate statistics: pages viewed, approximate country, referring site. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and cannot identify you. Your calculator inputs never appear in it — they never leave your browser at all.

There is nothing beyond that: no cross-site trackers, no session recording, no advertising pixels. If any of this ever changes — new analytics, cookies, or advertising — this page will be updated and the change will be dated below before it ships.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies — the analytics above works without them.

Changes

If we change anything material, we'll update this page and bump the date below.

Last updated: September 1, 2026 — Analytics section rewritten to accurately describe the anonymous, cookie-free page-view statistics FinCalc runs.
