Short version: we collect almost nothing.

Data you provide

Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to a server. When you close the tab, your inputs are gone (unless you've shared a URL containing them — see below).

Local storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember two preferences across visits:

Shareable URLs

Each calculator can encode its current inputs into a URL fragment (the part after #). Fragments are not sent to any server. If you share such a URL with someone else, they will see the inputs you encoded.

Analytics

FinCalc does not use any analytics. No first-party scripts, no third-party trackers, no page-view counters. Every visit is invisible to us — and that is by design.

If we ever add analytics in the future, this page will be updated and the change will be dated below before it ships.

We do not set any cookies.

If we change anything material, we'll update this page and bump the date below.
